Sam (On Trial)

On trial in a new home 1/1/12. Please consider our other dogs at www. Dogrescuenewcastle. Com. Au. . . Hi, i'm sam, a 6 yo, male, labradoodle (labrador x poodle). I'm a friendly boy who loves attention. My forster mum says i am just too cute! i get along fine with other dogs however i need a big yard with room to run and play or else plenty of walks. Whenever i get bored i like to lay around or play with all my toys. . . When it gets dark i get a bit scared so i always go inside. I sleep either in bed with one of my family or on a big pillow on the floor near my foster mum. I like to warn my family by barking if someone comes to the front door, then i stop barking when told its ok. Oh and one other thing, i like is my doggy treats, i do what i'm told so i can get one. Now a word from my foster mum:

sam hasn't spent time in a pound. He was surrendered to dog rescue newcastle by his family because he was getting out of their yard. Sam is a young, intelligent dog and he needs interaction and exercise. If left alone in a yard all day he will be unhappy and try to get out. If he is given a walk in the morning and his family let him inside and spend time with him playing, training or just hanging out, he will be a happy, well behaved dog and a delight to his family. . . He is a very friendly boy and young at heart. He loves people and is great with other dogs. He is very smart and will do anything for a doggy treat so is easy to train if you will just take a little time with him or, even better, take him to training classes. . . Sam has a beautiful curly brown non-shedding coat which won't drop hair around your house or on your clothes. He requires bathing, combing, and clipping. Professional clipping will cost around $60 every few months.
