About Koda
Koda is a 6yo, daschund x chihuahua cross. Her big, bat ears are so adorable but it's her soulful brown eyes that really make you want to hug her. She's great with children, other dogs, and even cats!. . . Koda is currently living with 4 other dogs, 1 cat and 4 kittens and is fine with them all. She especially loves children and likes to snuggle up and sleep with them and protect them. . . Koda is must be an indoor dog and be allowed to sleep inside. She is fully housetrained of course. She is such a beautiful looking dog, with the long, slender body of a daschund, but not as extreme and therefore healthier. . . She is not a barking dog, but when the others bark when people arrive at the house, she joins in with the rest of the group. She doesn't fret when left home alone. However, dogs are group animals and are sad when left home alone for long hours. Koda needs a home where someone will spend time with her, train her, walk her and love her. . . Koda is learning basic commands such as sit and come and learns quickly. She walks beautifully on the lead and returns when called. She needs to be treated with gentle care. She had a bad start to life (kept in a cage) and if yelled at she will cower and be frightened. She has really been enjoying her new life in foster care and is learning to play with toys and the other dogs. She is discovering the big wide world! she is like getting a curious puppy as she is learning to love life and it is a joy to witness her blossoming. . . Koda is ready for her exciting new life and is sure to bring some lucky family, couple or person a whole lot of fun and love. . . *** please see more photos of koda at http://tinyurl.
