Dolly

*dolly is trialling her new home*dolly is a real little character! she's a confident, lively, playful little girl who loves to meet people and dogs. She thrives in the company of other dogs and loves being part of a pack environment. One her favourites things to do is play ball with her doggy friends. She would be happy to live with another ball crazy dog (as long as you had 2 balls) you must be careful though as she has a habit of creeping up behind you and leaving her ball for you to trip over. Dolly looks like a small kelpie and weighing in at only 9kgs she would make a fabulous little family dog – she’s house trained and uses the doggy door all the time. Dolly loves to travel in the car very well but she does get excited when she knows where she is. Dolly is very expressive and likes to talk to you, especially when getting a pat, it’s a doggy purr! it’s not a bark…

she is a gorgeous little girl who would love to become part of your family. She knows basic commands and is very easy to train, particularly if a treat is involved. Dolly is very accepting of small children - she's been around 4, 5 and 7yr olds and loves the older ones throwing a ball for her, unlike most kelpies she actually brings it right back to your hand and with her bum in the air, her tail furiously wagging waits for the next throw. Dolly is a great mix of being fun-loving and playful but is also happy to settle next to you after her exercise and dinner. She really would be suited to a family life that already has a dog or two, she'd get bored as an only dog who is left home all day alone.
