About Man
Fantastic news man now mac has gone to his new home, he even has a beach house & a boat to go out on, they also bought him a life jacket. . . One lucky boy!!
hi my name in man and i'm 3 years old. I'm a good boy but very sad that i was surrendered to a pound before christmas day as i was soooo looking forward to christmas dinner and a present. I only arrived at stafford rescue today fri 23rd dec, they wanted to get me out of the pound so i could spend christmas day with them instead of being lonely like all the many dogs will be throughout aust. Do you like the photo of me that jan calls man in the bath?
i will be assessed more in the next day or so but my notes from where i've been staying are below for anyone who might be interested;
i found this animal to be a very energetic little fellow who enjoyed running around the yard. He was very excited to be out of his pen after 3 days and made the little staffy grunt that most staffy’s i have met make. He enjoyed being touched all over and enjoyed lots of cuddles he showed no interest in the toys he preferred to look around the yard smelling all the trees. He was rather excited to met a blue heeler and followed him closely around the yard, the blue heeler felt a little smothered and told man off by a growl. Man was quite mouthy but showed no aggression his tail was wagging during this time. Man showed no food aggression taking food gently although fast feeding from the hand, i was also able to pat him all over as he ate from a bowl on the ground. Man will come when called but on the command sit he will roll over for a tummy rub this may be something he has been taught. When i put man into training mode he reacted well after being shown to sit he sat on command, he also looked me straight in the eye waiting for the next command , i believe man would do well with more formal training. Man pulls on the lead but if held on a short lead in training mode he does listen and walks by the side well. Man did not startle at sudden movement or loud noises. Typical of most staffy's man loves water and found the water dish to be very cooling on this hot day, he even posed for photos in the tub. If you think you could give man a loving forever home please phone jan on 0408 515 111
