About Quinnie
Quinnie is a cuddly dog with those who treat him very patiently and gently. He has had a rough time with his health, but has come through through surgery and treatment with a calm brilliance that is really quite inspiring. Just watching him do a delighted dance before dinner would make you think he was a puppy!
He really likes to be picked up gently and held and patted. He is a very easy dog to bath/groom and loves to be brushed.
Quinnie likes to be close to his people and loves to snuggle up in bed next to you at night and will snore softly. He travels well in a car and likes to get out for a walk and a drive, so he can be with you all day if that suits you.
Quinnie needs a patient, gentle home with people who are around to give him cuddles and attention. Does that sound like you?
Medical notes
Quinnie has just had a major specialist operation to remove two hernias. He will be much more comfortable now. His incontinence is under control with medication, but he sometimes leaves little wet patches where he sleeps.
He is deaf but seems to hear the food bowls being prepared.
Has mild cataracts.
Has an ongoing on and off respiratory infection that is controlled with tablets as needed.
