About Luna
Meet luna!
i'm such a striking little cherub that when you take me home i'll be the talk of the neighborhood!
i'm a super fun little girl that loves my kong, playing tug & chase, wrestling with my foster mom's dogs, & i'm big on going out for adventures and meeting new things and new people. I love challenges and working things out - so while i maybe be rather petite, i will need an active family or person to keep up with me. My foster mom thinks that might be the kelpie, or the staffy, or maybe even the sight hound in me. . I dunno, either way, i'm a pretty unique little bug. At about 11kgs i'm a total ball of fun, my foster mom thinks i should do agility, or some other kind of activity. And the best thing about my smaller size? i'm perfect lap size, and i do really love to be cuddled. So sometimes i might be really busybusybusy, but i really do love to connect. In fact, if you're busy on the lap top, and i'm sitting beside you, often my chin will end up on your hand or lap. I come with a basic set of manners - i know "sit", i walk well on leash (especially when you have some of my dinner with you to tell me when i'm being a "good girl"), i'm house trained and crate trained. My foster mom also has no issues luring me into a "drop", she's just too lazy to properly train me! because i'm sensitive girl, i respond well to verbal guidance, but i'm also very food focused, so training me will be a snap! i also love baths and am a pretty good little puppy when it comes to getting my nails trimmed and my foster mom can interrupt anything i'm chewing on or eating. But she always makes sure i get something lovely in return as well. I get along well with other dogs, and my foster mom thinks a properly matched 4 legged friend would be the best thing in my new home. But because i like to be busy, a single dog home is just a well if you can take me on adventures or were looking for a dog sport buddy. I also live with cats, so cats in the home are a possibility, but a dog-savvy cat is better, because i am known to herd and or try to wrestle with the ones i live with now - they're so patient with me! i would be suited for anyone with or without kids, but probably not a home with very young toddlers. Not that i don't like them, i've met lots and think they're great, but i know how busy a young family can be, and i'm a busy little girl. My neighborhood has lots of 5 and 6 year old kids around and i sure do think they're fun! my foster mom would is also quite adamant that i go to a home that will allow me inside - apparently because i have the most pinkest, kissable nose; it gets sun burnt very easily, and we all know what a sunburn means. But also, because i'm house trained and just love to be with you, and am so darn delicious, it would be a shame not to have me as part of your family. Can't wait to meet you! p. S. I love chicken jerky treats!
