Diva

I'm trying a new home to see if i like it !!
Diva is such a lovely girl. . . Very soft and quiet in nature, with so much love to give. After her terrible start to life, diva is learning to trust again, which is so wonderful to see. She loves to snuggle into you and have her belly rubbed and a good scratch behind the ears never goes astray either. Diva is fine with other dogs in general, but if the other dogs become too pushy then she loses all her confidence and just wants to run away. We are sure with time she will rediscover how to play but first needs to be able to trust that no harm will come to her. Diva needs to be able to be an inside dog and, as whippets don't have a doggy smell and are very low shedding, generally clean dogs, this doesn't make for extra work. Taking diva out for a walk is a pleasure as she walks well on the lead, is house trained, and sleeps through the night without a sound. Like most whippets, diva spends a lot of her day snoozing but is very happy to go for a walk or up to the dog park for a bit of a wander around. She has even learnt how to jump into the car by herself, quite happily knowing she is having a fun outing. Diva would benefit greatly from being with a family or couple that would be able to spend a lot of time with her, helping her feel safe and secure. She needs understanding and a gentle hand, and your input into diva will be returned ten fold. Diva has missed out on all the comforts in life a dog should have had until now. She really needs to go to a home that will give her the family she so wants to share her love with and make her forget her past, letting her be the young playful girl she should be. Diva comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, heartworm tested and with local council lifetime registration for $295. If you would like more information on diva or to arrange to meet her, please phone denise on 0405 244871 or email her using adoption enquiry as your subject heading.
