About Pepper (On Trial)
On trial in a new home 19/12/11. Please consider our other dogs at www. Dogrescuenewcastle. Com. Au particularly elmo and chopper. . . Pepper is an adorable 3 month old kelpie x stumpy tail cattle dog. She was surrendered to a sydney pound and taken into care by dog rescue newcastle where she has melted the hearts of all that meet her. . . Pepper has a stumpy tail which means that she wags her entire body instead of just a tail. She has a loving, sweet, gentle personality and for such a young puppy is incredibly well behaved. She already comes when called and listens to you when you tell her to not to do something. She loves our children and they love her. She loves her foster brother who we adopted after being rescued by dog rescue newcastle so we think he has taken her under his wing to show her how great life can be after being given a second chance. . . While still very much a puppy she is very respectful of our cat - perhaps because her foster siblings have told her not to mess with a street smart tabby cat. . . She has spent a large amount of time inside the house and hasn't had an accident yet. Although far from being 'housetrained' she is quite trustworthy in the house if kept an eye on and let out frequently to learn the ropes of toilet training. Pepper sleeps inside and likes to sneak in and keep the children company but is well behaved and stays where she is after the lights go out. She needs a very early toilet break (around 5am) at the moment but apart from that has not had any night time accidents. . . Pepper would suit a family with young kids to love and would be delighted to have another dog to keep her company to play and wrestle. Our older grumpy german shepherd tolerates her but is a bit annoyed by her youthful energy so a younger dog to keep her company would definitely be best for all. Pepper is definitely used to being allowed in the house so a home where this continues is needed. As she is such a young and well behaved pup she needs a home with lots of stimulation so that she doesn't develop any bad habits that come from boredom. . Pepper is an absolute delight and will need to go to a family who love her as much as we do. . . Dog rescue newcastle www. Dogrescuenewcastle. Com. Au is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation. Pepper's $400 adoption fee covers her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. Your support allows us to continue saving other abandoned dogs like pepper. . .
