About Matilda
Matilda is an exquisite little lady who has been through some difficult times but will blossom with someone who’ll give her the time and patience to come out of her shell. She is learning to enjoy attention and feels more confident when in the company of other small dogs. She will happily follow you around the house, and is getting used to being picked up and patted. She already loves chin and belly tickles!
matilda loves walks – her confidence soars when out and about: her tail wags, she roams around and is not frightened by any of the sounds around her. She is house-trained and very much enjoys being around the other little dogs she is living with in foster care. Matilda would be best suited in a home without children and loud noises. Visitors can make matilda nervous so she would need to be gradually introduced or put in a crate or safe area when people are over to calm her anxiety. If she is to be the only dog in the family, she would be suited to an owner who is home often and is able to spend the time building her confidence. Matilda is patiently waiting for you to give her the happy ending she deserves. If you have the patience to unlock the key to matilda’s heart, she will reward you with years of her unconditional love and companionship!
Medical notes
Matilda is desexed, vaccinated and microchipped. She has a grade 5 heart murmur, which does not require medication or affect her daily life, but will need to be monitored over time
