Choc

Introducing choc. He's a happy and energetic boy. He's a really nice guy who deserves a nice home. Choc hasn't had much experience on a lead but is very receptive to instruction. He likes to walk alongside touching your leg and is just aching to please. Choc would excel with just a little bit of time and training. He is happy to learn to sit with gentle instruction. He takes treats gently but isn't super food motivated; for choc a kind word and a scratch behind the ears is the best reward. Choc either has a unusual bark, or has been debarked in the past. We don't believe he had ever seen a cat before he came to the shelter and is a little too curious about them. He will chase if they run but was a bit frightened when they stood their ground. He is fine with other dogs and was very happy to get a pat from brooke, our 10 year old volunteer. Age: 7 months (as at november 2011)
