About Biggles
Biggles is a 10 month old staffy x (kelpie??) that is so affectionate he could melt any heart. He is very thankful for any attention he gets and shows it by licking you with the most gentlest licks. He loves to cuddle and will snuggle into you whether it's on the couch, in the car, in the backyard or even while out walking. . . Biggles is such a character that you can't help but have a bit of a laugh while watching him. He prefers to slide off things rather than get down off them. He also likes to "army creep" along the floor (so you can't see him of course) and slowly paw by paw climb onto the couch beside you, and watches you out of the corner of his eye to see if you're looking at him or not. He tends to cross his front paws when he lays down and has the cutest over bite making him even more of a character. He's one of a kind that's for sure. . . Biggles loves water. He will play in his paddling pool for hours on end, getting in and out taking toys in to play with and even laying down and having a nice cool drink at the same time. He would love the beach. . Biggie has had basic obedience training. He knows sit, stay, come, lay down, bed and will wait until told before he eats his dinner. He will play fetch endlessly until you get tired. . . Biggles spends most of his time outside during the day but is allowed in certain areas inside. He likes to be with his pack as much as he can. He sleeps inside at night by the back door and will wake you if he needs to go outside to the toilet. He does on occasion sleep outside but prefers to be inside with his family. He is house-trained and doesn't chew anything except his toys. . . Biggles is a little unsure when he first meets other dogs. But once he gets to know another dog they are inseparable! he is currently in foster care with a very placid large dog and also a chihuahua. He adores the large dog and they have so much fun together! it only took a small amount of time for him to get use to the large dog and now they are best of mates. He hasn't been phased by the chihuahua, only ever sniffed and carried on his way. We think he needs to go to a forever home where there is another doggy playmate. . . He has seen cats but hasn't been allowed to get up close without supervision, he just lays down and watches them, probably trying to figure out what they are. . . He is definitely a human oriented dog, whether it be kids or adults he loves humans to bits. It would be good for him to find someone that can continue to teach him the proper "doggy etiquette" when meeting other dogs and re-assure him. . . Biggles is a special boy that doesn't need for much, only to be with his family as much as he can. He would be best suited to someone (or family) that can spend most of their time with him or where he can go to work with you. He wouldn't cope being locked in the backyard for hours on end without anyone around. He needs to live with another friendly dog. . . Biggie will be your best mate, not just your dog. He has so much love (and entertainment) to give. . . *** please see more photos of biggie, at http://tinyurl. Com/dogsnew *** and a video at http://youtu.
