Indy *On Trial*

*indy is currently trialling her new home* meet indy!!! she and her sister, katie, and their mum, nina, were rescued from a house where they weren’t being treated very nicely. The pups were the most traumatised by the experience but thanks to a month in foster care where they’ve received love, affection and good food their faith in humans has slowly been restored and they are now ready to go to their forever homes – will it be with you???

cheeky indy was the first pup to come out of her shell and is now enjoying cuddles from her carers young teenagers. She loves to have a play and can be a bit of a rough nut – we think she should’ve been born a boy! indy has a big personality, we reckon she thinks she’s a doberman in a little dog’s body. She likes to think she’s the leader of the pack, even bossing her carers ever-patient kelpie x’s around and if there’s mischief to be had then indy will be there with bells on!!! she can be boisterous one minute, then a smoochy snuggle pot the next. Indy’s terrific with her much shyer sister, katie, who she likes to look after and the two of them will play for hours on end before curling up together for a well deserved nap. Adorable indy has been learning to walk on a lead though hasn’t had much other training at this stage, however she’s quick to learn and please. Daily walks or runs around the back yard, secure fencing, chicken necks to chew on and toys to keep indy stimulated will make her very happy indeed!

indy would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a doggie companion to learn from or on her own but only if she won’t be left alone for long periods of time especially while she’s a pup. We reckon indy and katie’s father must’ve been a jack russell x as unlike their mum’s wavy coat theirs is short, sleek and shiny.
