About Harriet
Harriet was taken to the pound for surrender, but as there was no room for her she would have been euthanased straight away. The pound called our rescue, and harriet quickly made her way here. The reason harriet was surrendered is due to a family members asthma, and that she triggers a reaction with her fur. She has been well looked after, and needs a home where she can be spoilt for many, many years to come. Harriet has previously suffered scurvy, so attention to diet is really needed (like with all guinea pigs). She needs a daily source of vitamin c, which can come from parsley, capsicums, etc. Harriet is a rex coated piggie, which means she has a wirey coat that is lovely to pat. She is very friendly and gives lots of licks. This girl is going to need a very special home to see us part with her!
