Aster

Aster is a german shepherd blend we think with a labrador who was abandoned by his owner and left at a boarding kennel for over two years. He has good basic obedience and will be a wonderful companion for an owner who would be able to further his education as he is very willing to learn and once he has your trust he is a loyal loving dog. Aster is good with other dogs and could go to a home where there is one other dog but he could also be a great only dog as well. Since he has come from a one owner home it would be preferable for him not to go to a family with small children. When he is first introduced to people while he is still in his kennel he is reactive as most dogs are when they are protecting their "home" but he settles quickly. He is a good to walk on lead and would enjoy a daily walk. He would need to go a home with a family who are experienced with this breed and willing to put in the time as he is well worth a loving home.
