Elmo (On Trial)

On trial in a new home 16/3/12. Please consider our other dogs at www. Dogrescuenewcastle. Com. Au particularly ivy and zoe. . . Elmo is a 13 month old kelpie / schnauzer cross. He is a huge smoocher and loves a belly rub! he is super cute, affectionate, sweet, playful, energetic, clever, and a very loyal little boy. He loves treats, enjoys walks, walks well on a lead, is easily trainable. He is eager to please, likes treats, and is very smart to training is no problem. He doesn't bark alot, but will have his say when the neighbourhood dogs bark. We have started to housetrain him and he is doing extremely well and will probably be fully trained by the time anyone reads this. . . Elmo is very striking; he has the colouring of a kelpie but with a bit of wirey hair around the nose like a schnauzer. I am only 5ft 3 and he comes up to my knees so i guess he is of a medium size. I don't think he would suit a family with small children as he jumps a bit. We are working on it, but it will take time. . . Elmo is an inside/outside dog. He spends time outside of a day but comes in when we are home and sleeps inside at night. He loves to follow you around and will sit anywhere to be with you. He plays well with his foster brother. He had no idea what to do with toys when he got here, but my fur boy is teaching him. He loves a game of tug o war. He spends the day at home with my boy razor and doesn't seem to have any problems with being at home. He eats anything! he also loves to chew on pig's ears and lamb's ears. . . The whole elmo package is awesome!! he loves to gaze at you. . . Then drops down on his back for a belly rub. Elmo was rescued from the pound and is now waiting for his forever family to adopt him and make him a very happy boy. . . *** please see more photos of elmo at http://tinyurl.
