Buddy *On Trial*

*buddy is currently trialling his new home* this little bundle of joy is buddy and he’s a 23 month old poodle x jrt so he’s a friendly little dog with lots of energy who’s looking for a new forever home – will it be with you???

buddy’s great with other dogs and tends to steer clear of cats - he hadn’t met any until he moved in with his carer, who’s cats are dog friendly of course, but no buddy prefers to stay out of their way! he’s terrific with children though not too young as he can be quite bouncy. His favourite thing in the whole-wide-world is playing fetch which he will happily do for hours on end, luckily he brings the toy back every time though he does like to play a little tug-‘o’-war too. His previous home was with young teens who would throw a toy or ball for him at every opportunity so he can be a little obsessive though his carer is working on that and he's so much better. Buddy knows “sit” and “down” though may need some practice on a lead again as it has been some time since he’s been on one. Being a poodle x buddy doesn’t shed any hair and he doesn’t mind a bath and a blow-dry in the cooler months. He will require regular brushing and a clip when needed to keep him looking his best! \ buddy also loves water and is a terrific little swimmer. Buddy loves company and doesn't like being left alone for long periods of time so he’ll need a home with either a fun-loving doggie companion or someone who’ll be around fairly often or can take him with them as he’s a nice compact “take-anywhere” size and he enjoys getting out and about. Plus a secure yard, daily walks or runs around the backyard, chicken necks to chew on and toys to play with would make buddy very happy indeed! buddy is housetrained and has figured out how to use his carer’s doggie door.
