He is a beautiful natured dog in excellent health and condition. Jimmy has been surrendered due to his long time owners serious health problems and he has come from a very much loved and cared for home. . . Jimmy is a quiet, wonderful dog who is excellent with children and other dogs and is housetrained and great on the lead and in the car. . . He has lived inside all his life and will only go to a home where this will continue, he is used to a doggy door and has been the only dog in the family and would need a new family who are home most of the time or another friendly dog for company. Jimmy would not like being left at home alone all day while everyone is at work. . . Jimmy's health checks are all up to date and a record of all his vet visits are available. He has never been to the pound and a very loving home is required for him as he returns so much love and devotion a retired couple would be perfect as he is past all the puppy stages and just wants to sit at your feet and go everywhere you go. . . Not a great athlete but he does love to be taken for a walk - as soon as he sees the lead he gets very excited and carries the lead around in his mouth until its time to go. He doesn’t require a lot of walking but a daily short walk would be good for him. His coat requires regular clipping to keep him looking handsome and happy and this a cost that needs to be taken into account, or a set of clippers at home is a great way of saving time and money. . . Jimmy is very affectionate and friendly and is happy to meet and bond with all new people and dogs that he meets, he will fit in very quickly and become a much loved family member in no time.
