Andy On Hold

Andy has obviously been a pet and has the makings of a fine gentleman. He arrived into care with a totally matted coat as some of these photos may show. We have had to get a professional groomer in to ensure his coat is saved. He has had two sessions of an hour each and there will still be another two to go. Andy loves to go to the park and have a romp with the kids. He has made firm friends with tess, our bc x staffy. Andy does not jump up on you, is learning to walk on the lead and is going quite well but he is still not realising his strength. He will sit and almost drop. He comes to a whistle and is learning his name. Andy's favourite part of the day is a walk to the park where he can run freely and have a good swim. Andy will be only available to a home where they understand the needs of a purebred border collie and the requirements and commitment needed to look after his coat. Once andy is finished his grooming sessions and his coat is clipped, he will be available for adoption but if you're interested, enquiries are welcome
