Tinkies

Meet little miss sweetness, tinkerbell (tinkies) aged 11 weeks (born 2nd week in august). Tinkies is one of the lucky ones, as she and her siblings have been well loved from the day they were born! they came into my home at just one week old with their mamma. They’d been surrendered into our care by a loving family with simply too many cats, including several litters. Their gorgeous \ mamma was also suckling a three week old orphan. It was soon evident that they all had serious cases of cat flu, and that they were not getting all the nutrients they needed from their mamma’s milk. We nursed them carefully for several weeks, using formula, special nutrients and medication (and loads of cuddles!). But there was little improvement. Eventually the older orphan faded away and we lost him (poor little buster). The rest of the kittens soon began to show similar symptoms, losing the use of their limbs and sleeping way too much. We suspected the worst and, sadly, tiny little titch lost his battle and slipped away. We were left with fiesty triplets, tinkies, trixie & tux. Slowly but surely, they showed signs of improvement. Mamma got her milk back and their little tummies started to get rounder. Their flu symptoms subsided, and gradually they started to come to life. To see them now, you’d never suspect that they’d had a sick day in their lives!

petite tinkies is a perfect little angel. By far the most affectionate kitten of the litter, she loves to snuggle up under our necks or in the crooks of our arms, but her favourite sleeping spot is definitely on a cushion on your lap (not that she’s spoilt or anything!). She sings and purrs in her sleep. She doesn’t mind being handled by anyone, and only half-heartedly runs away when chased!

she has a crazy hour every morning and evening, but is never naughty or destructive. A scratch pole and pussy-cat toys are necessities in tinkie-land, as she is extremely active, inquisitive and playful. Tinkies needs to be loved … and she’s easy to love! the way she’ll gaze into your eyes will melt your heart. She is very well socialised and tries to make friends with every living creature, including all our other cats. She’s easy to please, is not a greedy or fussy eater, knows all about kitty litter and doesn’t have a flea problem. She’s been de-sexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated. She’ll be fine with all family members, including children and other pets. She’s kept indoors at the moment, but if you have a safe yard, she may like to venture out occasionally. Tinkies is looking forward to meeting her “forever family”
