My name is sidney. My foster family named me after sidney poitier because they say i am the best mannered gentleman they have ever met and i invite myself to every meal (mine or not). I love to follow my chosen humans around the house and see what they are up to – you never know when they might want to give me a scratch under the chin or a rub behind the ears, so i like to be available. I don’t mind being held although i am just as happy to sit beside them on the couch, or sleep happily on the end of the bed. I am extremely relaxed around other cats and never hiss or growl, even if i am in company that is bad mannered enough to do so at me. I’m a little cat (approx 4 kg) filled to the brim with confidence, personality, charm and loads affection – i purr when you reach towards me and purr with an excited trill in my voice when you actually stroke me. My foster family already have 2 cats otherwise they say they would never part with me
