Perfect for little kids - a gem

liesl is great with little kids and with other dogs. She loves swimming and playing ball. She even lets the 18month old gently roll the ball to her and brings it back and puts it in her lap. She will do this for 45 minutes. She is very patient letting the children lie on her and sit on her. She is one of those lovely 'bomb proof' dogs. She is a great snake detector but won’t attack them, just does high pitched yapping. She has detected four snakes near the children!! she is well trained and obeys commands. She is ok to be left alone – even overnight!an almost perfect dog –except she doesn’t like chickens!! scared of thunder, but okay in a fenced yard or inside. She was surrendered to friends of the pound because her owner is moving to the city and will be living in a townhouse. She didn't think this was fair to leisel. She adopted leisl from the tweed pound as a puppy and knew that we would find her the best home. We really want leisl to go to a home with children. Because we are close to the nsw/qld border our animals can go to either state. We do not transport animals interstate
