About Nancy
I am trying a new home to see if i like it. Nancy is the prettiest girl with the cutest face and such soulful brown eyes. We do not know nancy's past history, but she was probably left to her own devices in the backyard with no human contact, no bed or toys and obviously had never been walked or seen another dog. After intensive rehabilitation, nancy now loves human attention, plays with toys, shares her bed and does a happy dance when you tell her it's park time! nancy was placed in foster care with four other dogs so she would develop good manners, learn to interact socially and become a good canine citizen. Being the smart girl she is, nancy is observing her new doggy pack's every move and it is fantastic to see her behaviour changing and improving when challenged with different situations. She is learning to meet and greet dogs politely and is playing 'chasie' off leash with her doggy friends at the park. Nancy has never had rules and boundaries, so she will need an owner who is 'dog savvy', that will continue to give her gentle guidance and correct her when she becomes insecure or bossy. Nancy may be active foxy at the park, but at home, loves nothing more then to curl up in your lap and snuggle. She is just like a baby cat as she rubs her face gently with her little paws, then plays "pawsies" with her carer's hands. Nancy's tail never stops wagging and she just loves to be told she is a good girl over and over. Unlike some foxies, nancy does not bark unnecessarily and she sleeps through the night in her cosy bed without a peep. Nancy is intelligent, obedient and really is a darling little dog. It is easy to fall in love with her as she is personality plus! nancy could be rehomed as an only dog but would enjoy a doggy friend to play rough foxy games with. A quick comb with the furminator brush every other day will take care of any loose hair and keep her coat glossy and smooth. Nancy is a house dog and must have indoor access via a doggy door or similar. Nancy comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, on heartworm prevention and with nsw local council lifetime registration for $400 and is not available for adoption outside nsw. She has also had a recent dental (teeth cleaned under anaesthetic). If you would like more information on nancy or to arrange to meet her, please phone 0466 690916 (between 8am and 7pm only) or email using adoption enquiry as your subject heading.
