Lily (On Trial)

On trial in a new home 14/11/11. Please consider our other dogs at www. Dogrescuenewcastle. Com. Au particularly rastus and harrison. . . Lily is a 5. 5yo year old pure bred shih tzu. She's a living soft toy; a cuddly little dog who is timid at first, but when she gets to know and trust you, wants to be your friend. Until she was rescued 3 months ago, she'd lived her entire life on a puppy farm, in a cage having litters of puppies. But now after lots of gentle kindness from her foster carers, lily's happy, loving personality is shining bright. . . Lily is house trained and comes when called. She has learnt to walk on a lead and now eagerly runs up to have her harness put on. She is friendly with other dogs she meets on our walks and with our resident dog. But lily especially loves her soul mate jessie who also came from the puppy farm. The two of them wrestle and run until they flop down together and snooze. Lily is now ready to take her next big step and go to her forever home. She will need someone who will take time to gain her trust. She has never been alone and would be best with another dog. Ideally it would be wonderful if someone could be generous enough to adopt both jessie http://www. Petrescue. Com. Au/view/128293 and lily together. Lily would make an ideal companion for a quiet retired person as she is timid with children. She is a good watch dog as she lets you know if someone is approaching your gate. . . *** please see more photos of lily at http://tinyurl.
