Jessie (On Trial)

On trial in a new home 4/12/11. Please consider our other dogs at www. Dogrescuenewcastle. Com. Au particularly rastus. . . Jessie is a 4yo pure bred shih tzu. She's a loveable, cuddly, little dog who is very timid at first, but when she gets to know and trust you, wants to be your best friend. Until she was rescued 3 months ago, she lived her entire life on a puppy farm, in a cage having litters of pups. But lots of love and gentle attention have seen her blossom into the happy, affectionate little mite she is today. . . Jessie is house trained and comes when called. She has learnt to walk on a lead and now eagerly runs up to have her harness put on. She is friendly with other dogs she meets on our walks and with our resident dog. But jessie especially loves her soul mate lily who also came from the puppy farm. The two of them wrestle and run until they flop down together and snooze. Jessie is now ready to take her next big step and go to her forever home. She will need someone who will take time to gain her trust. She has never been alone and would be best with another dog. Ideally it would be wonderful if someone could be generous enough to adopt both jessie and lily http://www. Petrescue. Com. Au/view/128294 together. Jessie would make an ideal companion for a quiet retired person as she is very timid with children and doesn’t like sudden noise or movement. She is a very quiet dog and rarely barks. . .
