About Pugsley - On Trial in His New Home!
*update - 06/12/11*
well pugsley has decided he fancies himself a bit of a lady's man and has become super smoochy and affectionate! he's still a bit timid, but if you let him come to you, he'll take as many pats as he can get!
----------------------------------------------------
pugsley was surrender along with several other cats by a backyard breeder. Compared to some of the others, pugsley was in relatively good physical condition, though as with them all, the lack of human interaction and attention has had an impact on him. Pugsley is a sweet, friendly boy who is happy to have a pat, but is not familiar with or comfortable with being picked up or held at this stage. I have no doubt that as with the others, with some patience and love, he will get over this and become the affectionate boy that he so clearly wants to be. Pugsley would like a quiet, adult, indoor only home with perhaps a bit of time in a shaded outdoor enclosure, though he would probably prefer to stay indoors permanently as his eyes are quite sensitive to the sun. Despite being short haired, exotics can be high maintenance cats and only applicants with experience and or a good understanding of squishy faced breeds will be considered. If you think pugsley might be the boy for you, please research the breed thoroughly before enquiring
