These orphans were the result of backyard breeding and were handed into vets across melbourne after their respective mothers’ died and are now in the care of an experienced “bunny mothercraft carer” until they are more stable. Litter 1: agouti standards were born on the 25th of september. There are 5 babies to be rehomed from this litter and they will be available after the 20th of november 2011. Litter 2: agouti standards were born on the 9th of october. There are 3 babies to be rehomed and they will be available after the 4th of december 2011. Expressions of interest are being taken for foster carers or potential adopters for these babies. They will be rehomed in groups of 2 to 3 where possible to good indoor homes. Please note that the kittens will be sent out to homes on a foster basis and will return to rabbit run-away orphanage at 3 months for boys and 5 months for girls, to be de-sexed, microchipped and vaccinated. Foster carers have first option at adopting the bunnies
