Here’s our golden boy rastus, an australian terrier around 8 yo. He has a sweet face, and a very sweet nature to go with it, and is gentle and unassuming. Rastus would make a wonderful companion for a single or elderly person, in particular someone who would often be at home with him. . . Rastus gets on well with most other dogs (he particularly likes the girls), but is not comfortable with very large male dogs. He is a good watch dog, but doesn’t bark excessively at other times. . . Rastus has the type of coat that needs regular brushing and bathing to look good, but when groomed it’s silken and soft, reflecting different shades of gold, from almost white through to amber. He’s a good looking boy!. . . This darling little dog has been someone’s close indoor companion in his previous life. He is accustomed to sleeping on someone’s bed, loves to be carried around, to be cuddled, and to curl up with someone for a nap.
