Poppy (On Trial)

On trial 23/11/11. . . Poppy is a gorgeous happy friendly 18 month old female whippet/staffy cross. As you would expect she is excellent with children and loves playing with her canine foster brothers and sisters, especially chasing a ball or a game tug of war with a rope. She loves being around people. . . Poppy is housetrained. She will sleep inside or outside. Poppy is excellent on a lead and loves going on walks. She is well trained and isn’t a barker or digger. She wouldn't be suitable to a home with pet rabbits. Poppy is happy to stay at home when her foster carer is at work but another friendly dog to play with would be ideal as she is still a young. A home with children of any age to play with would suit her very well. . . Her photos don't do her justice. She is smaller than you might think and is very pretty with her orange tiger stripes and a fun loving sparkle in her eyes. . . Poppy loves to play with other dogs, playing tug of war, chasing the ball, although she may not bring it back but will delight in having you chase her. She will also amuse herself in the yard catching bugs; she is quite the fly catcher!
