Sadie *On Trial*

*sadie is currently trialling her new home* little miss sadie is one of 4 healthy, happy puppies who were born on 27 july 2011. The pups and their mother were recently surrendered to sarg and are now looking for loving forever homes. Their mother, gemma, is a 6 year old purebred dalmatian, while their father is a maltese x shih tzu so it’s an interesting combination indeed!

all of the pups have lovely, friendly, laidback nature’s and get along well with their carers other dogs and are used to being handled (cuddled!) by adults as well as children making them pretty much “bomb proof”. They are fascinated by the household cat and all enjoy a play under the sprinklers. All of the pups love food and aren’t fussy so hopefully this will help with their training. Gorgeous sadie is the second largest of the litter and likes to look after the other pups and coax them into some playtime which she loves. Sadie shares a room with her carers youngest daughter at night – she’s a bit of a princess! sadie’s fur on her back is all black (not sure if you can see it in her photos) and she has lovely markings on her stocky little legs and face. While in care sadie will learn the basics such as “sit” and “down” and how to walk on a lead. As she’s only a young pup she will require ongoing obedience training as well as socialisation with other dogs so she grows up to have lovely manners! daily walks, secure fencing, bones to chew on and toys to keep sadie stimulated are also a necessity so she doesn’t get bored and up to mischief. We think sadie will be on the small size of medium once she finishes growing. Sadie would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a doggie companion to learn from or on her own but only if she won’t be left alone for long periods of time especially while she’s a pup.
