Dudley *On Trial*

*dudley is currently trialling his new home* adorable dudley is one of 4 healthy, happy puppies who were born on 27 july 2011. The pups and their mother were recently surrendered to sarg and are now looking for loving forever homes. Their mother, gemma, is a 6 year old purebred dalmatian, while their father is a maltese x shih tzu so it’s an interesting combination indeed!

all of the pups have lovely, friendly, laidback nature’s and get along well with their carers other dogs and are used to being handled (cuddled!) by adults as well as children making them pretty much “bomb proof”. They are fascinated by the household cat and all enjoy a play under the sprinklers. All of the pups love food and aren’t fussy so hopefully this will help with their training. Darling dudley was the runt of the litter and a bit of a sooky mummy’s boy! he’s the lightest in colouring of all the pups – his coat reminds us of a blue heeler’s! he’s a real snuggle-pot who likes to climb onto the end of his carers bed to sleep at night. While in care dudley will learn the basics such as “sit” and “down” and how to walk on a lead. As he’s only a young pup he will require ongoing obedience training as well as socialisation with other dogs so he grows up to have lovely manners! daily walks, secure fencing, bones to chew on and toys to keep dudley stimulated are also a necessity so he doesn’t get bored and up to mischief. We think dudley will be on the small size of medium once he finishes growing. Dudley would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a doggie companion to learn from or on his own but only if he won’t be left alone for long periods of time especially while he’s a pup.
