About Frog (On Trial)
Frog is a 14 month old great dane cross. Very quiet, beautiful, gentle nature with people, children and other dogs. Well socialised with dogs and people and many new situations. He likes to run around and bounce like a frog when playing with us, especially at the beach, which is how he got his funny name! his favourite game is jumping waves in the water or playing chase with my other dog. . . Frog is brilliant around children, loves to play with them, but is a fair size. Gets along with other dogs perfectly. . . . Very high tolerance of annoying little dogs. Completely unaggressive. . . He has good obedience. . . Sit, lie down, stay and come. He is loyal and doesn't stray far away when off the lead. He likes to stay near you. He is house trained. He sleeps happily indoors or outdoors. . . When he was a puppy he was ok with a kitten and cat under my supervision but as an adult i am unsure. He doesn't play fetch very well: he runs and hides toys instead! i have heard him bark 3 times in a year. He is not a barking type of dog-just occasionally at the odd bird. I don't know how he would be home alone all day as he has always been with my other dog but i assume he would adjust and cope fine, though another dog for company would be ideal. He likes to lie beside you on the floor and put his paws on you for cuddles. He also likes to curl up in the tiny dog's bed rather than his big one. Such a character! frog would love a family home. He likes to play and walk, then is happy to sleep through the day and night! he is very quiet and goes unnoticed. I am a vet and rescued frog as a puppy when he was brought into work to be euthanised. He is a perfect gentleman, loyal and never leaves your side. He must go to loving, family home. A property check will be done and photo id checked to ensure he only goes to a genuine, caring home. ----------------------

Frog's $300 cost covers his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. He currently has health insurance to cover any unexpected vet bills and his new owners could continue this if they wish. He is young and healthy with no health or medical conditions (currently owned by a vet!). Frog is in the newcastle area. For more information or to meet frog please phone hazel - phone number below
