About Heidi
Hi there heidi is the name. Like my mate maria i ended up at the fairfield shelter after being rescued by my heroes from the rspca. It's not bad here: plenty of grass and other goat suitable food to eat lots of room to run around and really kick up my hooves. Yes things could definetly be worse. But like the song say: 'there's not place like home. ' so have you ever thought about adopting a goat? well what are you waiting for?
but before you come on down and plonk your hard earned cash on the counter perhaps you'd better read this paragraph that explains all about our special goat requirements.
for the most part goats has basically only a few things on their mind; eat drink water sleep play. And taking up the greatest percentage of that time is eating. Most goats will eat several times a day stopping only to rest and letting their rumens process the food. An hour later they are back at it again. So to have an "outdoor pet" of this type you must be willing and able to provide the proper food and nutrition at all times for your goat just as you would any other pet. And the water is important as well. Never deprive a goat of water. One must either have an ample field or pasture for the goat(s) to browse in addition to supplementing the diet with nutrients not readily available such as hay and alfalfa.
so all clear now? so what can you buy for $100. 00? well me actually. Jump in your goat mobile and come and see me real soon. But while i'm waiting i think i saw a patch of juicy grass in the back paddock.
