Ruby Rose *On Trial*

*ruby rose is currently trialling her new home* meet ruby rose! she’s an apricot “moodle” who’s had to have a rather close clip as her hair was quite matted when we got her. Sweet little ruby rose’s owner is too unwell to care for her and she was taken to the vets to be euthanased so lucky for ruby rose it was our vet she was taken too so we were contacted and she was given a second chance at life through sarg!

ruby rose is now in foster care and her carer says she is quite timid and shaky and is taking some time to settle in, but she is also very cuddly. We’re not sure if ruby rose has been handled by lots of people as initially when you pick her up she goes stiff and wriggles a bit but if you hold her close she soon relaxes and snuggles in. She is a true lapdog in every sense of the word and she also likes to curl up in her basket and watch the household’s goings on. Ruby rose isn’t interested in her carers kelpie crosses though she did enjoy a play with another carers gentle terrier cross and she’s great with dog friendly cats. Pretty girl ruby rose is quite low-maintenance only needing a short walk or a run around the backyard to use up her energy. Being a maltese x poodle little ruby rose doesn’t shed much hair though she’ll require a good brush every couple of days and a clip when required. Secure fencing, chicken necks to chew on, toys to play with and lots of love will make ruby rose very happy indeed! and at less than 5kgs ruby rose is a terrific “take-anywhere” size!!

as ruby rose is already a housetrained inside dog we would want to see this continued in her new home. She would love a quiet home where she could have her humans all to herself and they’d be home often or she could tag along with them as she gets a bit anxious being left alone for long periods of time especially while she’s settling in to her surroundings – our ruby rose is a little petal!
