About Chook 5 -Vaccinated
Update: all hens have grown out their feathers, are laying, and ready for their new homes! thankyou to the people who have already adopted. Why did the chicken cross the road? to find a rescue home of course! a huge number of chickens have been legally surrendered to us by their owner. These girls were used for egg production, and would normally have headed to the abattoir. It is common practise to intensively farm chickens to maximise production. This does not mean their productivity is cut short. These girls have many years left of laying, provided a safe and healthy life. At this stage many of the girls are bald because of the conditions in which they've been kept, but now they will be able to regrow those feathers and become the beautiful birds they're supposed to be. They have lovely natures and many are already racing over to say hello. If you are able to give one or more hens a loving home, a wonderful and natural life, please fill in an adoption form on our website: www. Porschesrescue. Com
with your help, these girls will have a bright future! to donate towards the care and continued rescue of hens like these, please visit: http://www. Everydayhero. Com. Au/charity/view?charity=1765
