Jessica (Red Flag and golden oldie)

A red flagged guinea pig means that he/she has had a bad experience either from neglect or ignorance these guinea pigs are looking for an extra special home where they can get the care and love they so desperately dissever.

Hello my name is Jessica and i love people and am a very friendly little girl and i also enjoy lots of cuddles..

Jessica has an interesting story she had a large open wound on her side witch was most likely originally coursed by a fungal or mite infestation her owners took her to several different vets and she was treated for severely different things over the year witch included of mite/mange, fungal and a bacteria infection after all of these things had no impact the family decided to surrender her to the shelter so she could be cared for by someone more experienced.

We took her to our vet who discovered that the wounds had a large amount of scare tissue underneath and around the wound witch was not allowing it to heal so the only option was surgery.

She had surgery the same day and found a loving home with another guinea pig not long after but sadly her friend passed away and her owners did not wish to adopt another guinea pig so re surrendered her to the shelter so she can find a new friend and new loving home.
