Lilly (On Trial)

On trial in a new home. Please consider our other dogs at www. Dogrescuenewcastle. Com. Au particularly moe and chopper. . . Here’s lilly, a pure-bred border collie around 5 to 8 years old, already trained to sit, come, stay, and drop, and very intelligent and wise. Lilly closely watches everything you do, and you can see her thinking, and coming to her own conclusions about it. . . Lilly will be a wonderful companion for someone who can spend time with her and take her inside with them; someone who allows her to share their life. She is very intelligent ? the kind of dog who knows your next move before you do. She would not be suited to a home where she would be left alone all day, as she is easily bored, and would seek entertainment elsewhere. . . The paperwork that came with lilly indicates that she is 5 years old, but we believe she is a little older, because of the greyness starting to appear on her face. Our vet check said her health is excellent; her heart is good, her coat beautiful, her eyes clear. . . In the past lilly has probably been the only dog in her household. She gets on with other dogs to a point, but her play can be domineering, and she would be best suited to a one-dog home, or possibly where there is one other. . . Lilly is very affectionate, and needs to belong to someone. Occasionally there is a degree of uncertainty in her eyes, as if someone in the past has been harsh with her. Her confidence will build with all the love and attention you give her. . . If you would like to know more, or to meet lilly, please phone lynda, monday to wednesday after 6pm, or thursday to sunday anytime, on 02-4987-1213 or email lryan@skymesh. Com.
