About Robbie (On Trial)
On trial in a new home 8/10/11. Please consider our other dogs at www. Dogrescuenewcastle. Com. Au. . . Robbie is a 3yo purebred cavalier king charles spaniel. He's a shy little soul who loves to be petted. He will roll onto his side and lift his front leg for his chest to be rubbed. Robbie loves to go for walks and is reasonably good on a lead. He weighs 7. 6kg. He loves his food and is not a fussy eater. Robbie is not fully house trained yet but can now sleep inside all night without any accidents. He is an inside dog and needs to be inside with his family, at least when people are home, and must sleep inside. . . As robbie is very shy he would better suit an adult family. He has integrated well with my dogs and is ready for a forever family. With lots of love, a little patience and some training he will give you his heart and make a wonderful companion. . . For the past 3 years robbie’s main companion has been pumpkin, a female cavalier king charles spaniel we are fostering and who is also available for adoption http://www. Petrescue. Com. Au/view/124508. They're a ready-made perfect pair if you were thinking about adopting 2 dogs. If you work all day they can keep each other company. . . Dog rescue newcastle www. Dogrescuenewcastle. Com. Au is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation. Robbie's adoption fee covers his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. Your support allows us to continue saving other dogs like robbie. . . Robbie is in foster care near maitland, nsw (30 mins north of newcastle). about the breed: "the cavalier king charles spaniel is highly affectionate, playful, extremely patient and eager to please. As such, dogs of the breed are good with children and other dogs. Cavaliers are not shy about socialising with much larger dogs. They will adapt quickly to almost any environment, family, and location. Their ability to bond with larger and smaller dogs make them ideal in houses with more than one breed of dog as long as the other dog is trained. The breed is great with people of all ages, from children to seniors, making them a very versatile dog. Cavaliers are naturally curious and playful, but also enjoy simply cuddling up on a cushion or lap. "
