Bailey

Bailey is a gentleman, a truly wonderful, gentle soul who was rescued a few months ago. He was skin and bone when he first arrived, but with some rehabilitation he has gained lots of weight and with heaps of guidance, leadership and love from ruth his foster carer, he has come out of his shell. His true personality shines through, he is a total smoocher, loves his cuddles and adores being with calm caring people. Bailey will only go to an approved home in melbourne, as at the grand old of age of 10 years old, he deserves only the very best, where he can live out his twilight years in pure comfort. Bailey needs a quiet loving home. He gets on well with other dogs and is cat friendly. Bailey has cataracts in both eyes (age related) - he has been to the melbourne animal eye specialist and been given the all clear, he does not need surgery but his new owners will need to be mindful of any changes. He needs to go back again to the animal eye care specialist in 6 months for a check up. He also has a large scar on his neck which has improved, but needs an application of aloe vera regularly to stop it from getting sore and red.
