About Teddy
🐾 MEET TEDDY – LOOKING FOR HIS SECOND CHANCE 🖤🤍
🐾 Special feature: The cutest little half tail!
Poor Teddy knows what it feels like to be let down by the people he trusted.
Teddy was once a family pet, but around a little while ago his owners put him outside and left him to fend for himself. When Teddy was eventually trapped and his owners were contacted, they made the heartbreaking decision that they didn't want him back.
And just like that, this beautiful boy, once a pet, found himself without a family. 💔
Teddy is the sweetest boy. He is super affectionate and loves any chance to cuddle on the couch with you. He is very quick to warm up to you and will happily follow you around the house. He is the ulltimate teddy bear and the best cuddle companion.
He is a super chilled and easily pleased boy and loves neck scratches, snacks and simply being around his humans. He doesn't like being picked up or thunderstorms.
Teddy has had a dental, including the removal of a molar and premolar, and has recovered well.
Teddy is FIV positive. FIV+ cats can live long, happy and fulfilling lives, and Teddy deserves every bit of that. ❤️
After spending so long without the security of a home, we're looking for someone who will show Teddy that this time, home really does mean forever.
If you have a lot of love to give and would love an effectionate cuddly cat, Teddy may be perfect for you. 🐾💗

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept strictly indoors or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process
Initial Contact & Questionnaire: We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message to help us understand your home environment and match you with the right feline companion.
Video Tour: We require a video tour of your home to inspect key safety features, including secure screens on windows, doors, and balconies, and to see where your new kitty will settle in!
Meet & Greet: Once your application is approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home: If your application is approved and the cat has completed their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (adoption and admin fees are payable at this time).
Settling-In Period & Communication: Every adoption includes a 14-day settling-in period. We stay in touch during this time (preferably via WhatsApp) to support your cat's transition into your home.
Adoption Fees & Registration
Kittens: $350
Cats (1–3 Years): $275
Cats (3+ Years): $200
All adoptions carry a mandatory lifetime registration/admin fee of $62 on top of the adoption price to ensure your cat is officially registered in accordance with local council requirements.
