About Lizzie
Meet Lizzie, a four-year-old black Labrador who loves being wherever her people are. Smaller and more reserved than most Labs, she is a little shy at times, but her affectionate nature shines through as she becomes comfortable. Once you’re her person, you have a loyal little shadow.
Lizzie loves trips to the river, a game of ball and daily walks. She walks well on lead, recalls well and continues to practise her recall and verbal commands. She enjoys learning, wants to please and is making wonderful progress with her foster carer. Bathing and grooming are no trouble for her, either.
Lizzie is kid friendly and enjoys the company of dogs who respect her space and boundaries. She sometimes uses her voice to communicate those boundaries, but her foster carer reports no aggression. Above all, Lizzie loves people and being included in their lives.
She occasionally barks to alert her foster carer at home and stops when asked. At bedtime, she loves being close to her people — she is very happy with an invitation to share your bed!
Lizzie’s ideal home offers companionship, daily exercise, play and gentle encouragement as she explores the world. She suits a person, couple or family who makes her part of everyday life and gives her time to build confidence.
We’re looking for someone who treasures this lovely girl. Lizzie deserves a home full of affection, adventures and the security of knowing she belongs.

Adoption details
All animals adopted from Goulburn Valley Pet Adoption & Rehoming come with a 1 month trial period. This trial period is to ensure your new family member has enough time to settle into their new environment, and you can both be sure it's the right fit. During this time, do not hesitate to get in contact with us if there are any issues, concerns or questions. If for whatever reason, you decide during the trial period that it's not the right fit, get in contact with us and we will take the animal back into our care, and your adoption fee will be refunded to you. Also, if at anytime during the course of your pets life, you are unable to care for them anymore, we will happily welcome them back.
