Remember me? I’m Teebo!
My first profile told you that I had trust issues, that I’d been let down before, and that I needed someone willing to give me the time and patience to feel safe.
Well, look at me now!
I recently returned to Silver Lining Pet Rescue through no fault of my own. My adoptive family’s resident cat just wasn’t accepting of me, so I’m back looking for the right home — one where I can finally settle in and stay.
And the best part? My foster family gets to see the real me every day!
A little patience goes a long way with me!
I may be shy and reserved when I first arrive in my new home. New places and unfamiliar people can take me a little time to adjust to, but please don’t mistake my initial shyness for the cat I am underneath.
Once I feel safe, comfortable and confident, my true personality shines! I’m super affectionate, incredibly vocal and love being around my people. Give me time, patience and a gentle approach, and you’ll discover just how much love I have to give.
I am SUPER affectionate. If you’re looking for a cat who wants to be part of your world, I’m your guy!
I have A LOT to say! I’m a very vocal boy who loves to chat with my people. I’ll happily let you know when I want attention!
I have a gentle nature. I’m a sweet, loving boy who thrives when people are kind, calm and patient with me.
I’m wonderful with my four-year-old foster human. They are calm and patient with me, and we get along beautifully. I’d love a family who understands that kindness and respect to help me shine.
I would happily live with another cat. I’d be happy to have a feline friend, provided introductions are done slowly and thoughtfully.
I could also live with a calm, cat-friendly dog. I’m looking for a peaceful home, not one that will overwhelm me.
I’ve come a long way from the boy who was scared to trust. Now, I’m ready to give my heart to a family who will cherish it.
I don’t need a perfect home. I just need the right one — a family who will love my chatty personality, appreciate my affectionate nature and understand that I might need a little time to settle in before showing them the real Teebo

Adoption details
Adoption Process
Once you have decided you would like to meet or apply for one of our pets, we email out our Adoption Application. We ask that the Adoption Process be read and if comfortable with how we adopt, complete the application and email it back for processing. This takes approximately 5-7 days. If approved the pet will come for a 6 week trial for cats and 3 week trial for dogs . We believe it takes that long for a pet to settle. If all goes well during the trial and you wish to finalise the adoption we email all vet certificates and change of microchip forms. We believe in matching the right pet with the right home so your application does not guarantee an approval.
