Malakai

Malakai is an owner assisted rehome and he will stay with his family until the very best fit can be found for him. We know he'll draw lots of attention with his good looks, but please consider if your home is truly the best match for him before applying.

Malakai was the dream cat, a companion for another ragdoll in a family where he would be showered with love and affection for all of his years. But sometimes things don't go according to plan and as hard as we try to make things work, sometimes they just don't. Rehoming Malakai hasn't been an easy decision. There's been lots of time and thought put into making Malakai as comfortable as possible in his home, but after many years of trying his family have finally come to the conclusion that things won't change for Malakai and as much as they love him and as heartbreaking as this is, what's best for Malakai and giving him the best quality of life must come before anything else.

Malakai has not adjusted at all to the family changes and after years of trying, it's evident that it won't get better, and for that fact Malakai needs a pet and child free home, no exceptions! He simply won't cope with other pets or children in the house and will become stressed and spend his days hiding and he deserves more than that. He deserves to life out his days as the king of the household being pampered the way he once was.

The best parts of Mal - he loves to play! His favourite is a ribbon stick toy. He also loves affection, especially chin and back scratches, he even enjoys being brushed. He's quite a chatty guy and loves to hold a conversation, especially when he's happy or hungry. We do need to warn you of his weird foot fetish though - he loves to smell them! 😂

I CAN FLY TO PERTH!

Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to Perth.
