Meet our lovely greyhound girl ❤️
If you're looking for a gentle, easygoing companion with a heart of gold, this lovely girl could be the one for you!
Calm, friendly and wonderfully well-mannered, she has a beautiful temperament and is an absolute pleasure to have around. She enjoys human company, gets along beautifully with other dogs and is happiest when she's part of the family. She's affectionate without being demanding and has a lovely way of bringing a little extra calm to the home.
Her ideal home
She's looking for a loving, stable home where she can feel safe, settled and included in family life. She enjoys human companionship and thrives with a consistent routine, plenty of affection and a comfortable spot indoors to call her own. A secure backyard where she can potter about, sniff and enjoy the sunshine would be a lovely bonus. She'd also appreciate a little extra company while she settles into her new surroundings.
Her energy level
She's a girl who enjoys a bit of everything! She loves heading to the park, socialising with other dogs and having a few good greyhound sprints to stretch her legs. But once she's had her fun, she's more than happy to spend the rest of the day snoozing and relaxing at home. She's the perfect balance of playful and peaceful.
Her suitability to children
She's gentle, patient and friendly with children of all ages. She enjoys their company and is happy to engage in a little play, while also being a calm and easygoing presence. As always, respectful interactions and supervision are important to help everyone enjoy each other's company.
Her suitability to other cats or dogs
Sangria is a social girl who gets along very well with dogs of all breeds and sizes. She enjoys having canine company and would be very happy in a home with another friendly dog. Cats aren't really her cup of tea, though, and she'd prefer to keep her distance.

Please use these links rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
