Callie is on the hunt for a special someone to share her golden years with. She's a gentle, independent girl who isn't asking for much. Just a safe, warm home, a little company and somewhere sunny to spend her days watching the world go by.
Having spent the last five years in a loving, quiet home with no other animals, Callie knows exactly what she likes. She's looking for a similar environment where she can enjoy life at her own relaxed pace.
A little about Callie:
💕 Shy but sweet: Callie can be a little reserved when meeting new people. In fact, she's something of a hide-and-seek champion! Don't expect her to rush up and greet you at the door. She prefers to take her time getting to know you.
💕 A purr-fect companion: She might not be a lap cat, but she absolutely enjoys having company. Once comfortable, her loud, loving purr is a lovely reminder that she's happy to have you around.
💕 Independent lady: Callie is fuss-free and content doing her own thing. She's quite happy lounging in a favourite sunny spot, keeping an eye on the neighbourhood and enjoying the simple things in life.
💕 Needs a little patience: Moving into a new home will be a big change for Callie. She'll need a few weeks to settle in, find her favourite hiding spots and build trust with her new person. A little patience and understanding will go a long way.

Our animals are rescued from various pounds and shelters and placed in Foster Care until a permanent home can be found. Our volunteer Foster Carers are located throughout Sydney, Australia and are only too happy to assist you.
DCH Animal Adoptions relies solely on our adoption fees and the generous support of the community to continue our rescue work. Many times, we are faced with large veterinary bills due to the illness and injury that comes along with looking after pound rescues.
