Meet Finnigan, an adorable Pomeranian with a heart as big as his fluffy coat! Weighing in at just 2.5 kilos, he is the perfect little lap companion, ready to charm your life with his loving presence. Fin is more floof than dog and his tiny little frame is covered by his thick and luxurious red and sable Pomeranian coat and his loyal loving bond to his foster mum is so deep and trusting.
Fin has over his short life not had a great deal of exposure to the big wide outside world as he was used in a puppy farm as a stud dog but since being in our care has now started seeing what a great life the big wide world can offer. He has had holidays to the beach and visited aged care facilities so slowly but surely Fins eyes are being opened to all the great things in life . He has formed a very tight bond to his foster Mum and she can do anything with him but Fin can definitely struggle to still trust strangers so this will; be a journey he will continue with his new family.
Fin is definitely a one human boy only and although will “ tolerate” lol other humans he bonds strongly to his one and only and cares very little about interaction with other people and will avoid interaction.
Finnigan is the quintessential one-person dog, easily forming deep and lasting connections with his special human. He thrives in an environment where he can be the focus of attention and share endless cuddles on the couch. While he enjoys a cozy human bond, he's also comfortable around cats, making him quite at ease in a home with feline friends.
His daily routine is filled with small delights, from playful frolics with his toys to leisurely walks that keep him happily engaged. At night, Finnigan finds solace in his crate, feeling safe and secure, and he is fully toilet trained, ensuring a smooth experience for his adopter.
Fin loves a little yard to run and play in and is definitely an indoor dog 99 % of the time and due to his small size must be allowed to be inside.
He is not destructive and his favourite spot is on the couch snoozing when his foster mum is not at home.
Fin enjoys a bath BUT does have a terrible fear of the drier and WILL FAINT if this is used on him so he cannot be taken to a groomer for coat maintenance at this point and his coat maintenance will need to be done by his family. He is currently taking a low dose of sedative daily to help him while he continues to experience the big wide world experiences.
Fin has met many new dogs while in care and is intimidated with dogs bigger than him ( which is most) lol but with smaller dogs who are calm and gentle he is happy to “co-exist” but shows no interest in engaging with them. He definitely a mummies boy lol

Adoption Criteria
Fin would prefer to be a only boy with a single person who is understanding and patient while is learns to trust his new person
Fin needs to be an inside dog as he is way too small to be left outside alone.
A home with a secure area is a must as he's VERY small and could easily fit through any gaps
A home that will ensure he is not allowed to jump off high places eg beds etc as he is a tiny breed and this can cause major issues for him.
We feel he is best suited as an only dog at this point
A home with cats is fine
