We are looking for a loving new home for Soren and Eglantine, a beautiful bonded pair of budgies who are hoping to find a family to spoil them with attention, enrichment and plenty of love.

Their Personalities

Soren and Eglantine can be a little shy when meeting new people, but don’t let that put you off! Once they have had the opportunity to settle in and become comfortable with you, they are an absolute delight.

They are both very chatty and playful, and would thrive in a home where they have plenty of toys, enrichment and opportunities to express their natural behaviours.

They would love someone who enjoys listening to their little conversations and taking the time to build a relationship with them.

Medical History

Neither bird has any known medical concerns. They received a basic veterinary checkup when they were approximately one year old.

They have not had any other veterinary treatment.

What They Need in Their New Home

Soren and Eglantine would love a home that understands the importance of proper budgie care and enrichment.

Their ideal home will provide:

* Plenty of age-appropriate toys and enrichment.
* Daily attention and interaction.
* A spacious, safe and stimulating environment.
* A balanced diet consisting of appropriate pellets, soaked seed, fresh fruit and vegetables.
* Plenty of opportunities to play, forage and socialise.

Their environment must also meet appropriate bird-care standards:

* No rust in their cage or environment.
* No candles, air fresheners or chemical fragrances.
* No rope, mirror or bell toys.

Other Household Requirements

* Happy to live with other birds of a similar size, provided introductions are managed appropriately.
* Children may be suitable if the birds are given time and space to settle.
* No known experience with other household animals.

Reason for Rehoming

Unfortunately, their current owner’s personal circumstances have become increasingly difficult due to financial and mental health struggles. This decision hasn’t been made lightly, but finding Soren and Eglantine a home where they can continue to thrive is the priority.

Soren and Eglantine aren’t necessarily going to be the birds who greet you with confidence on day one, but give them time and you’ll discover two wonderfully chatty, playful little personalities.

They deserve a home where they aren’t just kept as pets, but genuinely included, enriched and loved as part of the family.
