At just 3 years old, this beautiful little sausage is searching for something every dog deserves. A family who will love him, be patient with him and let him discover the world at his own pace.

Doug is a gentle, sensitive boy with a past we don't know much about. He can be easily startled, and sometimes the world feels a little overwhelming.
But behind those gorgeous brown eyes is a little dog who is slowly learning to trust. 🥹

His foster carer says he's coming out of his shell beautifully and has become her little shadow. He's learning to share attention with other dogs, and although busy environments and unfamiliar men can make him nervous, he's making progress every day.
And that's what rescue is about.
Not expecting perfection, but giving them the chance to feel safe enough to flourish. 🧡

Doug doesn't need someone to rush him, fix him or expect him to be a different dog overnight.
He just needs someone willing to love the dog he is today, while giving him the confidence to become the dog he can be tomorrow.
