About Johnny
🐾 JOHNNY – Small package, big personality, excellent lounge-room manners! 🐾
Meet Johnny, a very handsome 2-year-and-8-month-old tricolour Mini Foxie who is proof that good things really do come in small packages.
Johnny is a respectful young gentleman who has recently been desexed. Sadly, he found himself in rescue because the resident dog in his previous home wasn’t particularly fond of him and took to using him as a punching bag. 😢
Johnny has decided he’d much prefer a home where the household rules don’t involve being beaten up!
At a muscular, well-proportioned 5kg, Johnny is a little bloke with a big appreciation for the finer things in life. His hobbies include:
* Sniffing absolutely everything. He’s a Mini Foxie, not a forensic investigator, but he takes his job seriously.
* Cocking his leg on interesting outdoor objects. Thankfully, he’s a gentleman about it and keeps his indoor plumbing strictly outdoors!
* Lounging on the sofa watching TV with his favourite human. Netflix and chill? Johnny invented it.
* Enjoying car trips, either safely crated or tethered on the back seat.
* Going for walks on the lead, which he does very nicely.
Johnny is affectionate, enjoys human company and, importantly, his foster family haven’t noticed any separation anxiety. He’s a pretty easy-going little chap who would fit into a variety of family situations.
A few things to know before applying:
🐶 Johnny may be happy sharing his home with a similar-sized female dog, subject to a successful meet and greet.
🐱 Untested with cats.
👧 No children under 5 years, please. Johnny can get a little overexcited and jump up for attention, so some training and guidance will help him polish those already impressive gentlemanly manners.
Adoption fee: $1100
This includes Johnny’s desexing, microchipping, vaccination, current worm, tick and flea treatment, plus lifetime council registration.
Johnny isn’t asking for much. Just a comfy couch, a human to share the remote with, some interesting things to sniff and a home where everyone plays nicely.
If you think this little gentleman deserves his happily-ever-after, we’d love to hear from you! ❤️🐾
