Archie – A Very Good Boy Looking for His Person

Archie is a lovely, affectionate boy who really enjoys having people around. He's happiest when he's with you, whether that's curled up on the couch, following you around the house or keeping you company while you potter about.

He enjoys his walks, spending time in the backyard and finding a sunny spot to relax. He's not much of a fetch dog, though. Throw him a ball, and he'll leave you to retrieve it or do a victory lap for you with a big smile on his face!

Archie is a sensitive soul who can be a little anxious at times, but he's a loyal and loving companion. He's currently on medication to help him feel safe; unfortunately, his current household with small children just isn't the place for him. He would rather have a quieter home with a fairly settled routine.

He can be a little worried when visitors first arrive, but usually warms up once he's had a chance to check things out in his own time. He's best suited to a home without young children, although older, dog-savvy kids may be fine.

He has some lovely manners too. He knows sit, shake and wait for his food until he hears “yes”. He walks nicely on his harness and understands “steady” when he needs to slow down.

Archie would love a home where he can be part of everyday life, enjoy his walks and, most importantly, have someone to share the couch with. He's got lots of affection to give and is ready to find his person.
