About Chanel
Introducing Chanel!
Chanel is a Staffy x born approx 20th October 2025.
Chanel was thrown into our enclosed yard after hours with what we can only assume is her mumma dog Coco and no one came forward to claim either dog. Coco was lucky enough to be transferred to another rescue group for rehoming, which means our beautiful Chanel is by herself for the first time and on the lookout for her new forever family.
Since being at the facility Chanel has been an absolute sweetheart. She's very affectionate, playful & friendly. While she doesn't appear to have had much (if any) training before coming to us, she's very eager to please her humans and she's very food motivated. She's got a perfect little land seal face and the most soulful eyes to melt every part of your heart.
When we first tested Chanel with other dogs, she was very protective of Coco and didn't want the other dogs getting too close to her, however we have since re-tested her and she has been very friendly & playful with everyone she's met. We believe Chanel could be suitable to live with another dog, or be the spolit only "child" at home. If you have another dog at home, we will need to do a meet & greet with them to ensure they get along before going home.
Unfortunately Chanel has shown signs of prey drive, so she will need a home with no small animals like cats, chickens & rabbits.
Chanel has shown no signs of food aggression since being at the facility.
While Chanel was originally stressed when she was separated from Coco, she has since settled & no longer shows signs of separation anxiety while at the facility. In saying that, you can see she is desperate for human attention and we know she would love to be with her humans as often as possible.
She still has so much to learn about the world and life and would love to be in a home where she is included as a member of the family. Chanel will thrive in an environment that guides her with positive direction and lots of love and attention.
If you think you could be that furever family for Chanel, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
Her adoption fee is $600 & includes her desexing, vaccination and lifetime registration. She is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Chanel is currently located in East Maitland.

Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
